Electric bathroom radiators
E-heat

Electrically operated (bathroom) radiators are an effective solution for covering peak loads in residential buildings. In our projects with underfloor heating in multi-storey residential buildings, we repeatedly encounter bathrooms with a calculated shortfall in the heating load.
According to the standard, bathrooms should be designed with an indoor temperature of 24 °C. With conventional underfloor heating systems, however, the heating surface available in bathrooms is reduced by the area of the bathtubs and shower trays. If the system planning does not exceed 35 °C flow temperature, the desired room temperature cannot be achieved. Bathroom radiators are then often installed, which are connected to the heating water supply and the underfloor heating manifolds.
If you look at the performance characteristics of these hot water heaters and their output at around 30° flow, you can see the insufficient partial output at low heating water temperatures. This is why many of these appliances are retrofitted with electric heating elements. This solution is expensive and, if the reheated heating water reaches the floor, not without risk. We have therefore designed the ClimaLevel E-Line bath warmer L450: a pure peak load heater, made of aluminum and therefore very light. Heating is purely electrical via built-in electrical resistors and is therefore very fast. The heating output of the standard bath warmer is 450 W. The heater can be switched on for a defined operating time of 1, 2 or 3 hours via an LED display.
